 Malaysia Airlines is the flag carrier of Malaysia, operating from its central hub, Kuala Lumpur International Airport. There are five check-in methods: over the counter, over the phone, web check-in, mobile check-in, and using the self-service kiosk. Passengers are expected to check in at the airport 2 hours before the international flight departure and 1 hour before domestic flight departure. Passengers can check in online by visiting the web portal or Malaysia Airlines app. The most conventional of all is to check in at the self-service kiosks. Passengers can check in between 48 to 40 minutes before departure for domestic flights and between 48 to 60 minutes before departure for international flights. Note that some of these services are not applicable for specific flights, depending on the destination; it is best to check in early to prevent unnecessary delays.





MALAYSIA AIRLINES-BAGGAGE

In Malaysia airlines, passengers can carry a maximum of two pieces of checked baggage for any flight. The weight limit of the baggage allowance differs from class to class: Passengers traveling in the first class are allowed 50kgs of Baggage, 40 kg are allowed for Business class travelers, and passengers of Economy Class are allowed 30 kg. A maximum of 7 kgs of hand-carry luggage for cabin baggage. Passengers of First class and Business Class are allowed two pieces of baggage, and passengers of Economy Class can carry one piece of baggage. Another baggage that exceeds the weight limit, size restrictions, or quantity will be charged accordingly.



MALAYSIA AIRLINES-SEATING

On Malaysia Airlines, the seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Passengers who are particular about the window, middle, or aisle seats may choose their preferred seats during reservation.  The seat pitch is about 32” to 34” and is 17” wide; Business Class travelers enjoy different seat types like the Angle Lie Flat, Flat Bed, and Recliner seats. In First Class, seats are of the Open Suite type, the most prominent seats available in the entire aircraft. The seat pitch is 89”, and the width is 26.1”, which is a complete comfort for travelers.
